The Seacrewsader 2010 275N Twin Chamber is designed to meet the SOLAS 2010 regulations according to MSC 81(70) as amended by MSC 200(80) and MSC 207(81). However the jacket outperforms this requirement, providing increased performance in the most demanding working environments. We have improved the body angle, mouth freeboard and face plane angles to ensure you are even safer at sea.We have also added a new, unique inflation chamber that improves turn times while providing unrivalled comfort and support. Each chamber is fitted with two 60g CO2 cylinders, activated by UML MK5i standard automatic firing mechanisms, and a 3.5 psi relief valve to ensure full buoyancy during single or double chamber inflation.The Seacrewsader 2010 275N Twin Chamber is designed for extreme working environments and is also suitable for abandonment purposes. The high buoyancy level provides added protection when heavy work gear and clothing is worn. The Pathfinder Pro is a fully approved Search and Rescue Transponder (SART) that complies with IMO SOLAS regulations. When interrogated by radar, the Pathfinder Pro returns 12 intense blips back to the vessels radar screen, greatly enhancing search and rescue efforts. The superior lithium battery provides over 96 hours of operating life in standby mode (waiting to be interrogated by radar) and 12 hours of active operating life (while interrogated by radar).

some fisheries, the use of alerting devices (deterrent pingers) have been successful in reducing dolphin depredation. However, in many cases the acoustic signals coming from such devices (<150dB) are low in power and after a period of time the dolphin become acclimatised to the low intensity noise and depredation recommences. In some instances, where deterrent pingers have been used to prevent depredation, the depredation observed when they return is much higher than was observed prior to using the deterrent pingers. The anti-depredation pinger is louder than standard deterrent pingers, producing a randomised unpredictable sound that startles dolphins when in close proximity to the net.  A 100m spacing is recommended for maximum effect; this can be varied depending on fishing gear, region and dolphin species.
